House hangs are the nightly rhythm that makes the space feel like home. Some evenings it’s tarot, astrology, or skill-sharing; others are quiet circles for reading, writing, or working on small projects. Thursdays bring out the games, Fridays turn into movie marathons, and Sundays are our free potluck with extra food packed up for anyone who needs it. It’s the steady routine that makes the place feel lived-in in the best way.

Our parties are the big moments we plan just because it feels good to get everyone in the same room. Sometimes it’s a Yule feast with a long, lively table, sometimes it’s a candle-lit gathering with everyone dressed in their witchy best, sometimes it’s a full lake day where people drift between the dock and the grill. We’re building out seasonal celebrations and summer gatherings meant to stretch late into the night — the kind of memories that feel like they were made with people you’ve known forever.

Workshops at The Nest bring together the makers, the mystics, and the curious. Some sessions are hands-on — like Witch’s Broommaking or Crystal Moss Mirror crafting — while others lean into healing and energy work, from sound baths to reiki to movement-led practices. Every workshop is designed to help people learn, create, and connect through shared experience, with new offerings added all the time by the artists and practitioners who call this place home

Some are quick hits — like our Twilight marathon or one-night themed experiences — and others stretch into full three-night getaways focused on reading, writing, rest, or even grown-up summer camp. Each retreat includes simple bunk-style lodging, shared meals, and plenty of time to unwind, create, and connect with people who love the same weird and wonderful things you do.
