Visit The Northwest Nest
While a lot of our customers visit for an event like one of our workshops, our venue is also available for general use. When we're not hosting an event, our members get the property to themselves, and many visit multiple times a week to snuggle up with a book, work on a project, co-work, or join one of our weeknight House Hangs. If you're not a member, it's just $20 to purchase a day pass, which includes snacks and drinks at no additional cost.
Open Daily 3 PM - 10 PM

Lake Access
& Water Play
Lake access is one of the most unique parts of being here: a fully private, adults-only waterfront that our members get to enjoy without crowds, noise, or kids splashing through the quiet. Our dock sits just steps from the lodge and opens onto the full stretch of Lake Tanwax, a calm, tree-lined lake perfect for swimming, floating, and long, easy paddles. Bring your kayak or paddle board and wander the shoreline, or stretch out on the dock and soak in the sun with nothing but birdsong and water around you. Whether you come for a cold-plunge morning, a golden-hour lake float, or a whole afternoon spent drifting, this is the kind of access that’s hard to find anywhere else — and it’s all yours while you’re here.

upstairs lounge
The heart of the lodge. Upstairs, our main lounge is where everyone ends up—curled into the couches, sharing blankets, swapping stories, or settling in for whatever the night brings. With room for at least twenty people to get cozy, it’s where we host our movie marathons, literary nights, Mystical Mondays, and the gatherings that turn strangers into familiar faces. It feels a little like the living room of your favorite person—easy, welcoming, and impossible to leave without feeling better than when you arrived.
Coming January 2026: downstairs Lounge
The downstairs lounge is becoming our café-style workspace — a spot made for writing sessions, art projects, and quiet coworking. We’re actively curating it now, adding tables, cozy lighting, and all the little touches that make it easy to settle in and get things done. It’s the place you go when you want focus with a side of comfort, where creative work actually feels good to do. We're currently working on curating all of the seating areas, and will begin filling the space starting in January.

Coming January 2026:
Community Craft Room
Our craft room is a work-in-progress in the best way — a shared, ever-growing space stocked with community-donated supplies so you can try new crafts without investing in all the gear. People host sewing lessons, crochet classes, collage nights, and skill shares here, and it’s the perfect place to bring a project you’re working on, learn from someone else, or just play with materials until inspiration hits.

Industrial kitchen
Our downstairs commercial kitchen is fully stocked, industrial-grade, and currently used as a shared community kitchen for members to cook, bake, and gather around good food. While it isn’t certified for commercial use yet, we’re in the process of securing the permits needed to open it up to local makers and small businesses.

Once certified, the kitchen will be available for rent by bakers, meal-prep chefs, caterers, food-truck owners, and anyone who needs a licensed space to produce and package their goods. With industrial appliances, spacious prep areas, dry storage, and a warm, communal vibe, it’s an ideal launchpad for growing food businesses — and a huge resource for our creative community.

Overnight Lodging
Our lodging is cozy, communal, and intentionally simple — more like a grown-up summer camp than a traditional hotel. We can sleep up to 52 people across our bunk-style rooms, each with two sturdy bunks that hold four guests. We don’t provide bedding, so bring a sleeping bag and pillow and settle in for an easy, low-key stay. It’s the perfect setup for retreats, workshops, and anyone who loves the charm of shared spaces, late-night conversations, and that nostalgic camp energy.
The Perch Studio
Our dedicated 1,000-square-foot event studio sits just steps away from The Nest, offering a spacious, stand-alone venue with a small stage for workshops, movement classes, sound baths, and community gatherings. It’s home to many of our in-house experiences, and it’s also available for facilitators, teachers, and small business owners who want an inviting, flexible space to host their own classes or events.

Come take a tour of our grounds, we're even prettier in person ;)
